This battery tray enables you to configure the shape and layout of AA and AAA batteries for storage in a drawer or on a shelf.
The connectors slot into each other snuggly. You may need to tap them in with a plastic mallet or similar. The fit is intentionally a little tight, but depending on your filament or print settings it may be a little tighter or looser than it was for me. The modules should still slide apart with a bit of pressure to enable reconfiguration.
I made the AAA modules the same size as the AA modules for ease of layout.
You can just print the main 4 way connector and use that exclusively, or you can print the edge pieces for a smooth outer finish. I've set up the 3mf's with one piece per plate, so just pick the plate you want and clone as many pieces as you need. If you want to print multiple colours on a single plate, I recommend setting “print by object” on and allowing bambu to auto-arrange the parts. I've printed up to 9 pieces in different colours on a single bed in this way.
