Description

Hellraiser box of lament movie prop.

The box measures 55mm on each side (about 2.16 ") the same size as a standard rubics cube. There's also now an upscaled by 150% version, this needs to print on 2 plates. Many thanks to Nick C for the suggestion and for doing the test print.

There are 2 print profiles of this model, one without a pause, one with a pause to add 1X 8mm diameter by 10mm deep magnet. There is space for 2 magnets but please only add one as the weight of the second magnet can make it a tad heavy to stick properly.

The model is made so it clicks together this can mean when it's a fresh print it can feel a little stiff at first.

I do recomend using a little ca glue when assembing the four side faces, the panels do clip on but the glue will hold it together much better. It's a good ides the lay the faces out one at a time and checking the orientation before gluing.

So cool! Makes a great desk piece. I just need to design a stand for it.

That looks great! I'm glad you like the model... Truth is I did plan on designing a stand for it but got busy with some commissioned work... I will get to it at some point though

About to print a few more of these. Make sure you glue the sides on in the correct order!

Excellent model, big fan of the Hellraiser films and I always wanted a Lament Configuration Box that was able to move. I closed the box to glue the panels and it is such a good fit it took me a good 10 minutes to open it again. No chains when I opened it! Printed in Ziro gold PLA silky and Sunlu black PLA. Only improvement I would suggest is that the hole for the magnet is tighter so it doesn’t rattle when shaken, it could just be Pinheads chains though ;-) Edit: Printed the large box as well.

That looks so good! I'm so pleased you like the model. I've discovered its pretty much impossible to get a perfect fit for the magnets as there slight variations in the dimensions of different batches of magnets and there is slightly different amounts of shrinkage in the filament as it cools unfortunately

I'm sorry you had trouble with your bed adhesion, though this is not the models fault as many many others have printed it without issues
