Made another one for my sister - a band she likes called Parkway Drive. Fortunately their logo is really simple and already inside a primitive shape, so it made for a fast and easy project!
This one is set up just to have a USB-C snap-in for power and internally has mounts for a D1 Mini v3 and an optional AOD4184 (for use with non-IC COB LEDs). D1 secures with two M2.3 screws (4-6mm), AOD (if used) with two M1.7 screws. Using a 60 LED/m strip I ended up with 41 pixels.
What's fun on this one was using integrated tabs to secure the face to the base - similar to how I set the GeneriBox up, but this time on a rounded surface. Printed great and with just a tiny flex to push it in, the face locks securely to the base but can still be removed if needed.
I used eSun PLA+ Black and Warm White for the face, eSun PLA+ Black, PLA Metallic Silver, and Hatchbox Glow-in-the-Dark Green on the base.
