Description

I had too many filament spools lying everywhere, so I decided to create a shelf to organize them a bit.

It is completely modular, you can stack as many of them on top of each other as you want, but you should use some stronger filament material if you want to make more levels.

I used these broom handles with a diameter of 28mm and 180cm length to hold filaments. With two levels, it can hold up to 48 filament spools, when using the same broom handles as I did. I also used 4x40mm self-tapping screws just to be sure that it won't fall apart under any circumstances. If you are planning to use screws I would advise to pre-drill holes with an M3 drill bit so the wood won't split.

At the bottom, I 3D printed some TPE feet just so they won't slide on the floor so easily, but those aren't necessary, or if you want them they don't have to be 3D printed, you can just cut a rectangle out of any rubber that you have lying around.

I printed most of the parts with a 0.8mm nozzle, to save some time, but you can use a 0.4mm nozzle without any problems, it will just take a bit longer to print.

The assembly is pretty self-explanatory. You just slide individual parts into each other.
