das ist eine Stoßdichtung, die kommt auf die flachen großen Seiten bei allem, was geschraubt wird. also zb bei dem Gewinde auf Gardena Adapter packt man die innen rein und dreht fest

there is a YouTube video about making orings smaller or larger with super glue and baking soda, with the baking soda helping to make it stronger of a hold. the video is titled something like "the baking soda trick cops don't want you to know about".
