Description
I made this to add an additive to my irrigation system. The thread fits to a (european) PET bottle. The idea is that a watersoluable fertilizer placed in the PET bottle will be mixed into the waterstream. Matching seals can be found with my other models. Happy watering :)

will much be mixed? I am assuming quite often this is low pressure drip irrigation, so does it depend upon gravity to mix the fertilizer? meaning, I wonder if it will still mix if laid sideways.

It depends a bit on which type of fertilizer and which water pressure you have. The crossing of the tube is T shaped which means the main water stream will flow does not directly flow into the bottle. In my setup I have repeated on and off switches of the waterflow (the switch switches on a pessure differential) and at these moments a water turbulence is induced. Additionally, if the additive is in its solution fase, it gets carried easier by the water. Does this help?
