This is a a magnetic calendar holder clip, with an integrated pen holder. It is designed to use between 6 and 7 12x3mm neodymium magnets (depending which version is chosen), and has a peg which is about 4.2mm in diameter.
There are four versions possible with this. There are two “bases”, one which can mount flat to a surface (like a fridge) and the other which mounts on the top corner of a metal cabinet or fridge. There are also two “covers”, with one having a wider pen holder, which I recommend if you plan to use the pen holder.
Qty 6 to 7: 12x3mm neodymium cylinder magnets
Qty 2: M3x20 cap head screws
I installed the magnets using Gorilla Gel SuperGlue, being mindful of the polarity of the magnets, since the cover needs to attract the base part. I recommend marking the magnets poles before installing since if one is put in backwards it will not close, but instead remain open. The magnets which hold the cover closed are not absolutely necessary, but I think they help, so they can be omitted if you are short on magnets. Be careful however since these re very strong magnets and they could pinch your fingers.
The M3x20mm screws are used as the hinge pin for the cover. The go in from the sides (see the pic which shows where the screws go).
This design is optimized as much as possible to print without supports, however supports are needed for Calendar_Hanger_v5F-BASE_TOP_L_MOUNT.stl model. The 3MF is set up to print with auto tree supports, which worked well with this part.
If you find these models useful, please post a like or a comment with some pics of your prints.
