Description

Don't throw away your kinder eggs - Turn them into instruments

Design:

  • The maracas consist of two main components: a 3D printed handle and a Kinder Egg container.
  • The handle is designed with a comfortable grip, ensuring ease of use.
  • The Kinder Egg container serves as the resonating chamber for the maracas.

Assembly:

3D Printed Handle:

  • The handle is printed using durable and lightweight material (such as PLA or ABS).
  • The top end of the handle has a snug fit for the Kinder Egg container.

Kinder Egg Container:

  • The Kinder Egg container is cleaned thoroughly to remove any chocolate residue.
  • It is then pressed onto the handle’s top end, creating a secure fit.
  • If the fit is not tight enough, you can apply a small amount of super glue around the rim of the container before pressing it onto the handle.

Sound Creation:

  • Fill the Kinder Egg container with a small amount of unboiled rice (about a teaspoon).
  • Close the container tightly.
  • When shaken, the rice inside the container creates a pleasant rattling sound, similar to traditional maracas.

Usage:

  • Hold the handle firmly and shake the maracas to produce rhythmic sounds.
  • Experiment with different shaking techniques to vary the intensity and tone of the sound.

Remember to have fun with your homemade Kinder Egg maracas! 🎶🥚🎵
