Description

Not gonna lie, I was a tad bit inebriated the other night trying to solder stuff as one does, and I was irritated with my solder delivery solution (or lack thereof.) I searched for approximately 45 seconds for a solution and, not talkin sh*t, but couldn't find anything that worked the way I wanted to.

A few more brewskis and ‘lo and behold I have this monstrosity here before you. It’s basically an extremely overcomplicated solution to a simple problem.

The “Overcomplicated Solder Dispenser” utilizes some stuff you likely have laying around in a box, or baggie, or like shoved into your junk drawer because “I could use this one day.” All you need for this baby is a couple of 608 bearings which can be found in your kids skateboard or your wife's roller skates, and one of the little filament cutters and screws that came with your printer.

The way this johnny works is mad simple, just print it, shove some bearings into the cogs, screw the blade onto the cutting springy thingy, and pop her all together.

“Why should I print this?” you may ask. Well heres your answer pal - it works pretty friggin well if you ask me. All you gotta do is turn the knob clockwise, it spits out slightly crimped solder (it keeps it stiff and straight like how it should be), then pinch the cutter upwards to snip off your section of solder. Bang boom pow bobs your uncle and your'e no longer trying to use your dirty little fingernails to cut off limp scraggly bits of solder.

You're welcome friend, I'm here for you. Love ya
