Description

I have uploaded a revised step file and 3mf. In use there was more lateral movement of the printer than I liked. The feet are basically a variation of the one's I had made for an Anycubic Mega S and then subsequently an Anycubic Vyper. They worked great in those applications but the X1 is a different beast altogether. Its so much faster and core XY to boot. When printing the first layer or any layer where there is a lot of solid infill, you could see the printer sway on the foam feet. I have made the recess on the foot deeper or rather extended it by another 5mm to encompass more of the foam so there is less of it showing and hopefully less to flex when the printer is printing. I've just installed the updated feet today (11th October) and have yet to try them out in anger, but there is less sideways movement if I try to rock the printer by hand. I'll update when I printed something.

A set of sound dampening feet to fit the X1 Carbon and P1P and P1S 3d printers. These ones use green PolySound Sylopucks as the dampening material. These are rated for 15-30Kg speakers so will support the X1 Carbon and an AMS easily. I have used these on previous printers I have owned with great success. I printed one of Nick7's feet from Printables and took measurements using digital calipers as only an STL was available. I modelled my own version using Plasticity. Printed in generic PLA with supports enabled because there is a void on the bottom for the puck to fit into. I used 0.2mm Z separation and 0.4mm XY separation and the support material popped out easily. They fit snugly into the printer once you remove the original stick on rubber feet. They have the added benefit of raising the printer slightly so you can lift it using the built in handles halfway along each side.
