Riser for the P1 and X1 series of printers.
The goal of this project was to be able to reliably print PLA and TPU while keeping the door closed.
I have seen AMS risers that incorporate vents to allow for passive cooling, but could not find any that would force cool air into the enclosure.
The Riser includes accommodation for LED strips as well as inlet and exhaust fans.
The exhaust fans can be easily flipped around to allow for 4 inlet fans total.
I went with a 24v system due to the components i already had on hand as well as future compatibility with integrating it into the 24v system of the printer itself.
this is V1, and there are still numerous improvements needed. Feel free to remix(but give credit where credit is due).
In the future i would like to incoorporate a chamber temperature monitor as well as integrate into the 24v system of the printer. The dream would be to automate everything similar to how my V2.4 is…….
Print the main body out of a heat resistant filament(ABS,ASA, PETG)
the shells can be printed with PLA as they do not see any heat.
the nut hiders and front plugs were printed out of TPU
