This tray is designed to seamlessly mix into your mid-century home decor.
The slight curve of the tray's inner surface causes layer lines to be extremely visible. Instead of trying to hide them, I decided to utilize them as part of the design.
Print Settings
Because the design in the middle of the tray is meant to blend into the layer lines of the curved sides, a 0.2mm layer height is required. Handles must be printed as oriented (on their sides). This will add strength that is needed during assembly.
Print 2 handles.
Assembly Instructions
During assembly, don't be afraid to use force! The handles were designed to be a tight fit so they can be functional without the risk of pulling out. You will need to press firmly to install them.
Align a handle with the holes on one side of the tray. Press one side into the hole until the tabs flex and they slightly penetrate the opening. Repeat with the other side of the handle. Once both sides have been started, fully press the handle in place.
Repeat these steps with the second handle.
