Description

Carry your tarot cards in style with this beautiful tarot card box, complete with a cover design featuring two mirrored figures in repose and motifs of illumination and insight in the lunar cycle along the sides.

Prints with a 0.4mm nozzle and prints beautifully at that! I really wanted to use this as a chance to showcase what the AMS and 0.4mm nozzle can do with some tuning and testing. Of course, feel free to alter the profile if you have access to a 0.2mm nozzle if you prefer.

The box fits standard tarot cards (2.75 x 4.75" or 7 x 12cm) with a little wiggle room so they come out easy with a leaf or ribbon. Should be able to fit 78 thin cards, or 60ish with thick stock high-quality cards. Don't be afraid to ask or remix if you need a different size! I have included the graphics with the raw files should you wish to customize to your own liking.

The print profile is oriented for quality of the finished pieces, but as a result, it has quite a few colour changes. Please consider printing plate 2 if you want to reduce waste and don't mind a bit of cleanup of supports inside the box (it won't affect the design on the outside).

thanks. the box turned out great, but printing it on it's side caused it to warp a little. I restarted with a brim around it and the top still ended up warping just a small amount. It's barely noticeable and still very usable I just wanted to let you know. Also, I printed it with a Bambu A1 just in case that makes a difference. Again, thanks for the design. My wife loves it.

Great to hear it's being enjoyed, that's a shame it warped though. Was it warping upwards from the printbed side? I see people saying turning off the auxilliary fan can be the solution, but I haven't had the issue to be able to test whether that works. Still, that's so very nice it came out well enough to be enjoyed!

I can't wait to try this one out. I have over 27 decks and some have lost their boxes over the years. this is perfect. If I may I am still not good at editing. could I send you a picture of a card and have a top made for a box to print?
