DUMMY 13 loves COMIC CON!

So I have started to design a whole series of characters and costumes for DUMMY 13. This is another character from the series "DUMMY13 goes to COMIC CON".

The aim is to preserve the charm and simplicity of Dummy 13.

Content of DUMM-Luc Picard, sorry Jean-Luc Picard:

  • TNG Phaser
  • TNG Captain's stripes
  • Multi color / multipart armor
  • TNG Communicator

Printing:

The provided 3MF file can be used with:

  • Orca Slicer/Bambu Studio: Geometrie and settings
  • Prusa Slicer: Only geometrie
  • Others: May or may not work

Print profile:

  • The profile contains all the parts you need
  • Optimized for long service life, rigidity and prevention of adhesion losses
  • No need for speed settings
  • Don't forget to clean the plate first
  • Aligned the parts visually as they are to be assembled
  • Different parts have different layer heights
  • Inner brim for some armor parts for better adhesion and to avoid visual defects when removing
  • Most of frame parts have runners for better adhesion

Assembly:

  • First remove the runners from frame and armor parts
  • Armor:
    • Make sure that all residues are removed
    • Place the front/rear part on the top part, use glue
    • Be very careful not to accidentally break the fragile parts
  • Communicator / Captain's Stripes
    • Remove the runner on one side
    • Use the runner to hold the communicator and stick it to the armor
    • Once dry, carefully remove the runner, e.g. with a scalpel
  • Phaser:
    • Color the front tip black
    • Use a piece of filament to connect and glue the handle to the phaser
