ReRoll V2! After the success and feedback on the ReRoll I’ve made a V2!

With this simple design you can reuse your unused BAMBU Spool and turn it into a cool, customizable desktop storage.

U can store whatever you want in the boxes. Some ideas: USB’s, Paperclips, Battery’s, SD cards, Bolts, Coins, ect… Or other small items laying on your desk.

You can still download V1 if you don’t need the stack function or what to have a ring with cardholder. Printprofile can be found on my account.

Changes V2 compared to V1

• Added the option to make multiple ReRolls stackable.
• Added chamfer to make it easier to close the lit.
• Removed the card/cardholder. Because the lack of usage.
• Made the middle ring a bit bigger to make it easier to place/remove.

What to do with a V1 ReRoll?

No worries! ReRoll V2 is for the most part compatible with V1. Boxes, middle ring & Bottum Ring can be reused. Only in some scenarios the topring needs to be replaced.

Choose your scenario:

I’ve made a V1 and want to upgrade it to V2:

• Remove the topring with cardholder.
• Print the “Stackable INSIDE & Stackable OUTSIDE”
• Place the new printed parts on the tophalf of the spool.
• Done! Upgraded to V2!

I’ve made a V1 and want to use it in combination with a V2

• No problem! The V1 fits perfectly on top of the V1. Unfortunately the V1 can only be placed on top of a V2. That means that a V1 always needs to be the top spool.

Assembly

• Remove the cardboard ring from the spool.
• Place the “Stackable INSIDE & Stackable OUTSIDE” on the spool half with the material tag. (This is the lit of the ReRoll).
• Place the “Default Ring” on the other spool half.
• Place the small ring on the half which has the “Default Ring” on it. It also should have little stud.

• Put the boxes on top of the bottum half.
• click the top half in place to lock the boxes
• Give it a good shake! Everything should stay right in place!
• Enjoy!

Boxes

I’ve made 7 different boxes, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 150 & 180 degrees. This means you have the possibility to combine the boxes that you need! As long as it is max 360 degrees.

For example, 12 x box 30. 4x box 90 or 2x box 60 + 1x box 120 + 2x box 45 + 1x box 30.

I’ve made 2 versions of the boxes, one with text “BOX (degrees)”. And one blank.

Print

The design is easy to print with PETG and PLA, I recommend to make the boxes out of PETG as this gives it a lot more strength. No support needed and I’ve used the default settings. 0,2mm layer height is fine.
