Description
Use case:
Reliable filament splitter allowing easy swap between AMS / external spool filament feed into Bambulab X1C, P1P, P1S.
Requires:
- PC4-M10 Pneumatic Air Straight Quick Fitting 4 mm Thread M10 - Amazon.de, Allegro.pl qty 3
- M3x20 screw
Improvements made from the original project:
- funnels leading the loaded filament into the splitter
- rod leading the filament into the directly into the outbound PC4-M10 fitting
With this design I never experienced any retraction nor feeding issues.
Installation
The original M3x3 screw needs to be removed (top right corner) and replaced with M3x20. PC4-M10 should be attached and 4mm PTFE tube going out from the printer should be installed prior to the splitter being screwed to the printer.

I tried this splitter after having issues with another version. I use this to make switching between AMS and external feed easier for TPU etc…. This version fixed the failure to retract issues I was experiencing with a different model.

The print itselve was fine, but it's too tight to feed the filament trough

I choose your Model because it was short, good pictures in description, simple mounting and easy printing.
Unfortunatly it's too tight to feed the filament trough so I drill a bit, but I think its to strong.
I tried another print... printing was OK again, but same as before.
In spite of that thanx for your work.
Ich wählte dieses Model, weil es schön kurz ist, die aussagekräfitgen Bilder in der Beschreibung, einfache Montage und einfaches Drucken.
Unglücklicherweise passte das Filament auf der Doppel-Seite nicht rein. Nach dem Aufbohren der Löcher ging es dann, war aber sehr schwergängig. Nochmal gedruckt... Durck wieder OK, aber gleiche Probleme wie zuvor.
Trotzdem vielen Dank für Deine Arbeit.
