Description

Based on the Bambu Lab Over-Engineered Y-Splitter version 2, I modified the filament entry side for a smooth filament entry and do not catch up due to the gap between the PTFE tube and the entry.

In the picture, on left is the original and right is the mod.

They are not available on Amazon Germany or elsewhere. When googling PC4-UM2 I only find search results relevant to the US. edit: I believe I found them on eBay: https://www.ebay.de/itm/387024710601

It didn't help me. I just had to put the AMS to the side to reduce the amount of tube and friction.

I'm sorry to hear that. What is the issue you're facing? Perhaps I can offer some assistance. What I did was modify the Y-splitter for smooth filament entry. The original Y-splitter designer recommends using these release rings: QTY: 3 of PC4-UM2 from Amazon.

There wasn't enough of a lock on mine and the tube just slides right out.

Try using these release rings: 3 of PC4-UM2 from Amazon. The printed ones are weaker.

Thank you for the feedback. The release ring is rather fragile, I agree, but that is not my design, what I did was mod the Y-splitter for smooth filament entry. The original Y-splitter designer recommend to use these release rings: QTY: 3 of PC4-UM2 from amazon.
