Hello, this is my remixed version of the good Y splitter modified by MarcoDT; the main difference is that I fixed the overall mesh, smoothed it, adde holes to host M6 PTFE tube connectors and also fixed the geometry in one internal part where filament passess through, as it was not so good and had an enlargment where filament stucked when pushed in the splitter.
Just print this tool on your printer, apply metal connectors and it is done; 0.16 layer height is ok, supports are enough to support overhangs in the bottom. Note: It is eventually required to sligtly drill the head of the bottom metal PTFE connector before applying it (as I didi and highlighted in the photo with white pen) just to make the filament passage much more “fluid”.
I suggest to connect the “external spool” PTFE tube in the straigh connector and the one from AMS in the other one as shown in the pic. It is little big but not too much and has the clip to stay in place with other AMS PTFE tubes. Enjoy!
Required: 3x M6 fittings for PTFE Tube (as shown in the photo)
