file is great!! my printer not so much.....I have alot of ringing I can't seem to get to go away...

This is a known "problem" with 3d printing. The most pictures are taken in an angle, that you wont see this kind of imperfection. But be asured that they all have it. The only thing to check, are your belts tigthened? Check the x-y squareness. Also read the forum about "ringing / banding".

agreed it unfortunately came down to a few faulty parts on a new x1c i had just got but it came out just fine on my other ones! still waiting on the replacement x1c!
