Description

This spool roller snaps over the original metal external spool holder for Bambu X1/P1 series printers. The only hardware required is 2- 608 bearings.

Print standing up with normal support.

Note: After using the original for a while, I found that the spool would get pulled over the roller and up against the back of the printer. I added wings to the sides to prevent the roll from being able to be pulled off the roller. All files are the most recent revision.

The inner rod is a little too thin for the ball bearings (it's loose and not snug). Otherwise - great model!

I used low friction bearings which was a bad idea it can unravel it's self and tangle the filament from the spool not being balanced. This is a amazing print better the all that I saw and it was easy to install and works.

I can’t believe how easy this was. Pieces fit perfectly and I got to use my spare bearings I had laying around.

5 STARS. Works well,normal supports work well and are easy to remove. Print was canceled at 100% because ams failed to pull filament so I can only rate as 3 stars.

I designed this around the Sunlu filament rolls that I have. It turns out that Bambu filament rolls don't fit over it. The center hole in the Bambu rolls is too small I'll work on modifying the design to fit the smaller hole in the Bambu rolls.
