Amyboard Case

Let me guess:   You watched the Floyd Steinberg video on Amyboard and thought to yourself “I could have a real hardware synth without spending real money”.   You can't afford a real synth.   It arrives in the mail, you start to tinker, then show it off to your friends who tell you it's not a synth its a circuitboard.   I use the term “friends” lightly, it's probably your wife or kids.    You don't have many friends.  People you know don't have synths and spending time cultivating friendships detracts from time turning knobs and making bleep and bloop noises.   This brings us back to the problem:  The Amyboard looks more like a board than a synth.

Fear not, fellow synther.   A solution is at hand.   This custom made Amyboard case will turn your Amyboard into an Amysynth.   People will be amazed.   "What is that and where do I get one?" they'll say.   You can tell them it's a real synthesizer.   They might even believe you.

• Custom designed to fit an Amyboard
• Stylish art deco design (or at least what passes for art deco in my head, I didn't bother looking as I was busy turning knobs)
• Access to all the IO ports with clear labels

• Top and bottom ventilation with raised feet in case it gets hot (does it get hot?  Better safe than melted)
• Gab dents on the base to help with lid removal (annoyingly missing from my print in the photos)

As you may have noticed, I have no accessories plugged in so the case is designed accordingly.   If you have ideas for accessories, leave a comment.   I need little encouragement to buy more cheap gadgets.   This has a CC license so if you have the desire you can improve on it yourself.
