HFXC Light Diffuser

This is a light diffuser for the SMS Laser HFXC.

It utilizes a Great Value Brand Water Bottle Cap to handle the light diffusion, shock cord for cap retention, and M3 screw/nut to secure the base in place.

I did not have white/clear filament to use for diffusion so I thought the bottle cap would do decently, and in testing seems to do pretty solid.

The cap holder model likely can be modified to different sizes/shapes etc. 

I got a lot of my model inspiration from the "RING diffuser for HFXC" by Guns3D, so a lot of credit goes to them.

BOM:
Great Value Water bottle Cap (26 mm in diameter, approx 6.5 mm tall) 
Shock cord
6 mm M3 screw + M3 nut

Build:

• Print the plate
• Place the holder/base on the light, as shown in the photos
• Add the M3 nut to the side closest to the laser objective, and then screw in the 6mm M3 screw on the other side.
• Insert the cap into the cap holder so that the cap sits flush with the holder
• Place the cap holder onto the ring of the base
• Insert your shock cord, size it accordingly, knot the ends to keep it in place. 

Print in PLA for testing/fitment 

Print in ASA for final product/usage
