🐟 Dragon Gate Koi – Rising Tide Relic has arrived.
A highly detailed fantasy koi sculpture inspired by the legendary Dragon Gate tale, where the koi is admired as a symbol of perseverance, prosperity, strength, and transformation. This piece blends flowing wave forms, layered scales, and a relic-style finish into a bold collectible display made for high-detail FDM printing.
This model was heavily optimized and resculpted to improve printability, preserve crisp details, and create a cleaner final result. Even with the intricate look, it is still an easy print, with supports designed to come off super easily. Just be a little careful around the fins during cleanup , don’t pull on them directly.
A subtle stone-like surface texture has also been worked into the model to give it a more premium relic appearance while helping soften the look of layer lines for a cleaner finish.
Inspired by the same collectible mindset behind my dark relic-style creations, this koi brings a more mythical and symbolic energy to the collection.
