PLEASE READ! Important Notes:

1. CLEAN YOUR BUILDPLATE AND USE GLUE BEFORE PRINTING! LAYER ADHESION IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT 
2. USE PLA TOUGH (For a stronger part), PLA MATTE or PLA BASIC. This model has not been tested with silk filaments. I do not recommend using them due to the potential for over extrusion which can cause the layers to fuse and/or warp. 
3. If you are printing the NO AMS Version, Please use a layer height of 0.16mm. Do not change this value. If it does get changed, the color swaps will not be applied to the appropriate layer and the part will come out looking off. 
4. This part isnt indestructible. Please handle with care but if a leaf breaks off, do not worry and see the instructions below 

IF A LEAF BREAKS! DO NOT WORRY AND DO THE FOLLOWING

1. Use clippers to remove the links from the center structure

    

   2. Put in magnets as usual. The magnets will hold the structure together.

This model uses 62 4x2 magnets. Alternatively, you can glue the slices together without magnets.

Print Settings:

Filament: Only PLA matte or PLA basic

Layer height: 0.16

Walls: 4

Wall Generator: Arachne 

Color Swaps FOR NON-AMS VERSION:

WARNING!! LAYERS CORRESPOND TO A LAYER HEIGHT OF 0.16. IF YOU CHANGE THE LAYER HEIGHT THEN THE COLORS WILL BE PLACED IN INCORRECT POSITIONS. 

Start: White

Layer 57: Red

Layer 59: Blue

Layer 70: Black

Magnet Assembly:

The magnets will need to be glued in. Start putting magnets of the same polarity on one side of each lobe. Work your way around clockwise, only putting magnets of the same polarity onto the same side of each lobe. Once all the magnets with the same outward facing polarity are assembled, flip the magnets over and repeat. See image below 

1. Attach a bunch of smaller magnets to a larger one in order to keep track of polarity. 

2. 

   Apply glue to the holes.

3. 

   Place magnets into holes. 

4. 

   The bottom most magnet is optional and the part still will work without it. It can be difficult to put in but the best method is from this orientation using a large span of magnets
