Description
Introduction
This extends the front of the Noodle Nexus 2 by 95mm to increase stability while raising it by 13mm to provide clearance for the H2 series active vent at the top front so you can put it on top of your printer. The print profile contains the 4 foot extensions and 2 extra TPU feet. You will need 6 TPU feet in total but 4 can be re-used from the original build.
The foot positions do not stress the top glass as they only contact the glass where there is support from the printer frame directly underneath.
Filament
I recommend PETG or better as the top of the printer can get hot if you print high temperature materials.
Hardware for Assembly
Only one type and length of screw is needed (the same as used in the original build): BT3x14 BHCS Self Tapping Screw (AA223). Please see the main page for alternative fasteners.
Each front foot needs 4, each rear foot needs 2, 16 in total.
Remixing
I've included a STEP file with all 4 feet in their installed position. The STEP file also includes the other fastener hardpoints that could be used. Feel free to use this to make other mounting solutions. The STEP File looks like this:
