After listening to your feedback about the assembly process and scaling limitations of the original shield, I completely rebuilt it from the ground up.
The evolution of the RAIKIRI [D-02] MK1 shield is officially here.
Introducing the RAIKIRI [D-02] MK2: A fully parametric, print-in-place evolution of the Electromagnetic folding shield. No pins, no glue, no supports, and absolutely zero assembly required. Just pop it off the build plate, slot the handle, and it’s ready for the frontline.

What’s new in the MK II:
- Fully Parametric Architecture: These aren’t just "scaled" versions. I’ve rebuilt the geometry to be resolution-independent. Whether you print at 100%, 150%, or 200%, the functional tolerances remain identical. The snap-fit feedback and mechanical feel are exactly as crisp at 200% as they are in the original size.
- Zero-Support Design
- Reinforced Mechanics: The hinge structure has been beefed up to handle the leverage of larger scales, ensuring your Dummy 13 gear stays operational, no matter the size.
