Yes it worked well, allthough I was a little worried that I would "shave off" the insulation when pushing hard, but that didn't happen. I didn't use it as much as I expected though. After putting down the cable for a part of the lawn, I realized that I would not finish all of it in one go at that time, so I wouldn't get to a point where I could take the tool up. So I "backed it out" again and did some old school pushing-wire-down also. I had a thought that it could be open in the bottom, so not a full "tube", to be able to enter/exit a wire without running all the way to the end. However, it worked well and as expected so thank you!
