Bambu Lab Accessories Storage Box

This is an upgraded revision of my previously released tool storage box (Bambu H2D/H2S/P2S Tool Storage Box).

What’s new in this update?

1. Improved latch design: The latches in the previous version could come loose easily. This update optimizes the latch structure by adding a click-in notch to each latch, so you get a satisfying “click” when closing the box, and the latches stay securely closed without loosening.
2. Multiple interchangeable inner trays: To better suit users with multiple printers and spare nozzle sets, I’ve added several new inner tray configurations to choose from. Print only the trays you need for your setup.
3. Taller 1.2cm height option: Based on user requests for more storage space, I’ve added a new version with an increased height of 1.2 cm. Standard Version Dimensions: 18.2*10.58*4.4cm; Tall Version Dimensions: 18.2*10.58*5.6cm.
4.  The bottom space is divided into 3 cells for easier storage of small accessories.
5. Optional standalone latch (for replacement if printing fails): While the box is designed to be printed as a single piece (print-in-place), some users experienced latch failures during printing. I’ve included a standalone latch part that you can print separately and install if needed—this way, you don’t have to discard the entire box if the latch fails. (Fingers crossed you won’t need it—hope your print goes perfectly on the first try!)

What stayed the same?

The base length and width are unchanged. If you printed the old version, your existing inner trays will still fit perfectly in this updated box.

Usage Tips

Due to printing tolerances, some users may find the latches too tight after printing. You can try pressing them firmly into place—when closing the latches, it is recommended to press the middle section instead of the bottom. The latches will become smooth after a few uses. If they are still too tight, you can gently sand the position shown in the illustration with a file, sanding a small amount each time and trying repeatedly to avoid over-sanding.

Key Compatibility Note

The nozzle slots in the inner trays are specifically designed for Bambu Lab’s quick-change hotend nozzles. This storage box is compatible with accessories from all Bambu printers that use these quick-release nozzles, including the H2D, H2S, P2S, X2D, A1, and A1 mini.

Printing Tips: As some parts of the model have a small contact surface with the heated bed, they may detach from the heated bed during the printing process. To increase the printing success rate, please clean the printing plate with dish soap and spray glue before printing. Using a low - temperature warming printing plate can significantly enhance the printing success rate.

Feel free to leave a comment if you have any suggestions or questions about the model. When problems occur, please tell apart whether the issue is caused by the model itself, the printer, the filament, or improper operation and installation on your own part. I will block users who blindly attribute printing failures to the model and leave a one-star rating simply because they are unable to troubleshoot and fix problems by themselves. Such behavior greatly undermines the efforts of open-source creators.
