🇬🇧 Description
This model has been designed to allow the use of the CANVAS system on the Centauri Carbon 1, while keeping the printer fully enclosed using the original top glass.
The riser lifts the lid to provide clearance for the PTFE tubes without any interference, while maintaining a clean and functional integration with the printer.
👉 No additional hardware is required for assembly.
The design now allows you to install from 1 up to 3 plexiglass panels (front, left, and rear), depending on your needs.
If you prefer not to use plexiglass, printed parts can be used instead.
🆕 V3 Updates
This version introduces additional improvements focused on material optimization and TPU compatibility with the CANVAS system.
New features include:
- The upper CANVAS-side section of the riser has been redesigned with an angled/sloped profile, reducing filament usage while maintaining rigidity and compatibility
- New TPU Adapter version available, allowing a dual filament feed on Port 1, designed to improve feeding reliability when printing flexible materials (TPU) with the CANVAS system
- For users who already printed previous versions:
👉 Only the upper CANVAS-side part needs to be reprinted, all other parts remain compatible - Recommended PTFE tube length between the CANVAS and the riser: 7 cm
- Full backward compatibility with previous riser components remains maintained
These updates aim to make the system lighter, more economical to print, and more versatile for multi-material or flexible filament use.
🔩 Additional Hardware Required (TPU Adapter Version)
For the TPU Adapter / dual filament feed version, 3 × ECAS04 pneumatic fittings are required.

👉 Quantity required: 3 × ECAS04 fittings
👉 Used for the TPU Adapter / Port 1 dual-feed system with the CANVAS setup
This upgrade allows improved handling of flexible filaments such as TPU, while keeping a clean integration with the CANVAS + Riser system.
🆕 V2 Improvements
This version includes several upgrades:
- Possibility to install plexiglass on the rear and left sides
- Larger front opening with rounded corners for a cleaner look
- Plexiglass panels can now be inserted from the top after assembly
- All plexiglass slots are designed at 215 mm, making them compatible with A4 sheets
- All parts are fully compatible, allowing you to mix and match and create your own setup
🧩 Plexiglass (recommended)
This model is designed to use 3 mm thick acrylic (plexiglass) sheets, in A4 format.
👉 Only one cut is required:
215 mm height (width is already compatible)
This makes preparation quick and easy, even with basic tools.

🧩 Design & Printing
The design has been optimized to be:
- Easy to print
- Strong and durable (important given the height of ~27.4 cm)
- Optimized to require minimal supports
The files are also designed to be:
👉 Easy to print, even on standard machines
This strength comes with higher material usage (over 2 kg of filament).
👉 Recommended material: PETG
(better heat resistance than standard PLA in an enclosed environment)
🔧 Assembly
The model consists of:
- 16 parts to assemble
- + optional parts depending on your plexiglass configuration
Recommended method:
👉 Assemble the bottom parts directly on the printer
👉 Then add the upper parts on top
Alternative:
You can assemble everything off the printer by adding:
👉 a small amount of super glue in the assembly grooves
This helps hold everything in place and reinforces the overall structure
👉 Edit: For those who already own a ventilated riser, there’s no need to discard it. You can simply place it on top of this model to keep that feature.
💡 Notes
- No screws or additional hardware required
- Designed to be practical, accessible, and modular
- Compatible with multiple configurations (0 to 3 plexiglass panels)
- Allows you to keep your printer enclosed even with the CANVAS system installed
