Description
The Triurn brain theory is a model proposed by Paul MacLean that divides the human brain into three distinct, evolving layers: the, reptilian brain (survival/instinct), limbic/mammalian system (emotions), and neocortex (rationality). It explains human behavior as an interaction between survival, emotional, and cognitive states, although it is considered a simplification of complex, integrated brain functions.
