Description

This is another desiccant holder for the Bambulab AMS system, I designed one to fit the hygrometer that I'd bought to fit in another model, but it didn't fit. I made a whole set just so they'd match.

This is the hygrometer I've tried and tested:

This is the model in OnShape in case you have a different hygrometer:

The v3 Small Container makes the lid rail slightly larger and adds a cross bar like the large containers.

@stephen.mott Nice models. Thanks. I printed all these. The large ones fit well, including my hygrometer was a perfect fit, but the small ones on the sides, I am not able to slip into their spot on either side — they seem to be a bit too large. Any suggestions?

Yea the end ones are a bit snug, I'll make them a bit smaller..

@stephen.mott Thanks, in my case maybe both depth and width could be an issue. I've tried figuring out which it is but didn't have a solid conclusion and I was afraid of breaking the first stage feeders. Let me know when you have them tweaked so I can quickly print them and provide feedback.

I've put up a new one, currently being verified, I've decreased the width and changed the shape slightly so it slides in easier too, its the "Desicant Holder Small - Container v2.stl" file.

I use "Fonday Premium Moisture Indicating Silica Gel Desiccant Beads Orange to Green" but it was just the first reusable one I came upon on Amazon, seems to work fine though, this is the UK link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BXJNJ73M?psc=1&;ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Does the hygrometer holder require supports or will it print okay without? Default orientation?

It will print without, but there will probably be a bit of droop to clear afterwards, depending on your filament. Yes print in the default standing up orientation.

Minor layer adhesion at the top of one item. Easily fixed with a droplet of glue. Amazing quality.
