Description
Convert your steel hammer into a non-marring mallet with this parametric TPU hammer cap! Perfect for tapping wood or 3D printed parts into place without damage.
This design revisits one of my earliest models with improvements to fit, and style, but the biggest upgrade is it's now parametric! Simply measure your hammer's face diameter and distance to neck, then hit the “Customize” button to set these values for a perfect fit.

📋Instructions For Creating a Custom Size Hammer Mallet Cap
Note: The provided 3mf file contains example sizes for 24mm & 28mm diameter hammers. If your hammer face is close to this size, you can simply download the 3mf (or use Bambu Handy) and send it.
- Measure your hammer's face diameter and the distance to the neck
- If using Bambu Handy, tap “Prepare to Print" and select “Customize” to open Parametric Model Maker.
- If using Makerworld website, select the “Customize” button to open Parametric Model Maker.
- Enter your diameter and neck distance values into Parametric Model Maker.
- Follow steps to generate model & download as 3mf and print
- Download, configure settings and print!
- If you downloaded a 3mf for BambuStudio, ensure you are printing with:
- TPU settings
- 50% gyroid infill
- 5 bottom layers
- avoid crossing walls
- If you downloaded a 3mf for BambuStudio, ensure you are printing with:
face_diameter_mm | distance_to_neck_mm
