Printed with 3 walls for a bit of extra strength, came out well.

Wow that looks great! How strong does it feel with the aligned seam? I went with random to avoid lines of weakness. But yours looks so much neater!

Replying to @alxtech :
Feels plenty strong - but time will tell after they are hooked up to the dust extractor.

edited my last comment but for some reason it kept screwing up adding photos. so just posting this here to see if it works. you can see the opposite threading on the purchased part to the right and then the mirror one I printed connected to my dust hose.

Excellent Print. I am still waiting for my magnets to show up. I didn’t realize until afterwards that the threading is actually reversed. I have several other attachments for my dust collector and the threads are the opposite direction. Perhaps they are different in different areas? Originally gave this a 4 as I couldn't use it as intended but after flipping it around it works flawlessly. :)

hmm that is odd. So what direction is the coil on your hose? Clockwise or anti-clockwise when looking from above? It should be easy enough to re-model with a different thread.

Just reprinted it again but mirrored it on the x axis and it basically just flips the threads which worked great. I have 3 different 4” hose types and even my 6” hoses go the same direction. I printed 2 without checking and then the one that is screwed on is the threads mirrored. I’ll just have to keep it in mind for future prints. 👍 Just added a second picture. the one on the right is from Lee Valley.

Excellent! you should do a 100mm to 30mm version ;)

That shouldn't be too much trouble if you want one! Were you thinking something like this, or would it need to be magnetic on both ends? https://makerworld.com/models/424356 The vacuum nozzle one I made is coincidentally roughly 30mm by 10mm (but rectangular). I could very easily make a circular version of that if that's what you're after.
