Description

Updated 20230928

I found the first version bent after standing on the table for 1 night, so I enhanced the back structure, I suggest using PLA tough or PLA+ to print the connection parts, the 4 boards using PLA basic are fine. Also when you print the 4 boards part, they have a probability of deformation after cooling from the hotbed, so you'd better to press them with a heavy object after printing.

Recommended Filament: Bambu Lab PLA Basic or PLA Tough

As the new A1 mini has been released, the “Bambu Filment Swatches” in the package of A1 mini Combo look so nice, but I don't like the way they stay together, so I designed a new frame to display them.

To make all parts printable in small A1, I spent a whole night figuring out an idea to make it possible, all the parts can be printed without support. The swatch can be taken down easily because of the Inclined base design. You can also choose to mount it on the wall or put it on the table.

See the images to get more information. If you like it, please give my design a like, and follow me, I will keep on designing more things.

Have fun!

Excellent, printed very well The top left panel has some imperfections but that was due to be speeding it up

Hi, how you label your Swatches? Is it just a regular label with translucent background? Looks clean and good readable! BR!

There made by Bambu lab and most of them not all of them are injection molded not sure how they labelled them but the 3D printed ones they’ve laser engraved

some pins for the swatches holes are a bit loose and some very tight.

You know why? because some swatches are produced by injection molding, some are made by 3D printing, so there are tolerance diffenence between different manufacturing processes.

Prints well and looks good, a tad heavy on the filament usage.

How did you do the labels? are they 3D Printed or with some kind of transparent foil and then sticked onto the swatch?
