A simple neon light in the shape of a cupcake.
It features a slot for a led strip that can be glued on the inside. You can use and kind of led strip, as long as you figure out a way to get the leds inside, while also providing power to them - the way I did it was to make 3 holes on the side where 3 wires go through, that connect directly to the led to provide power and data (you can look up “led connector” on Ali, and you can choose from there).
You can also find a photo showing the way I have attached the led strip to the sides of the cupcake.
I had also added a ESP32 board to the whole build, so I can basically control the light, the intensity, the effects, and so on. I am sure it can be done without it as well.
It was printed with 0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.
For the translucent cover, I split the cupcake and printed a 3-layer bottom (I also inverted it to make sure that the bottom layer is on top of the build). The cover was glued to the rest using superglue.
