Description
EDIT: Angle numbers were in the wrong order. Now file are corrected (picture still wrong)
I always had crappy chisel, but I decided to try make them perform better.
So I bought some sharpening stones and I needed a tool to maintain the chisel at a correct angle while sharpening.
I created this simple yet effective tool. To complete the tool assembly you will need:
- an hex bolt 8x60mm
- a M8 nut
- 2 rollerblade standard ball bearing (model 608 ID-8mm OD-22mm Width-7mm)
In the print plate you will find also
- a simple spacer to keep the two bearing separated while sharpening larger chisel
- an angle gauge to set the correct position of the chisel depending on the angle you need
The assembly is intuitive but you can follow the short video below if you want
I hope you will find it useful
