These models are made for the HP CB G8/G9 to repair HP's poor hinge design for these devices. I've only tested them/ modeled them for the education edition of these devices. 

To fully use them, you will need:
-m2.5 Threaded inserts

-some type of epoxy (I use jb weld)

-patience

Splints are just to help the hinge stay in place and is meant to be placed over the sheared area. I printed out a vice to hold the two damaged parts while the epoxy was hardening, just a generic clamp I found on thingiverse. 

The oblong holes are for the epoxy to seep into for more surface area contact. The raised holes are where the heat set inserts should be pressed in. 

You do have to cut away any remaining supports that were left behind by the damaged inserts to place these, I just cut them with the same snips that came with my printer.
