Description

I found the “Maylit Under Cabinet Lights Plug in, 3 Pcs 12 Inch Ultra Thin Under Cabinet Lighting” on Amazon when I was looking for a cheap solution to getting more light in the chamber of my P1S. When laying them on top of the glass facing down, they give me plenty of light to work with, but they do not stay in place very well, so I designed a bracket to hold them, and this way I can also remove them really easy when I need to open up the top.

The lights clip into the bracket. Once they are in, just slide them in the right position. Look at my pictures for how to arrange the cords between the three lights, it's somewhat counter-intuitive. You can carefully pull the light out of the clips if you need to, but be gentle with the clips. They are sturdy but can break off if you're rough.

There is no modification to the printer at all, and no spacer or anything (which was what I did not want, and why I did not go with one of the existing solutions). Also, since this is not in the printer, it shouldn't get very warm, and PLA should work just fine.
