The model without the connecters are made to be approximately the same distance from the wall as the model connected to the storage wall.

Below is how I printed this model. This is probably overkill, but I wanted to make sure it was study to hold wooden shelves.

Printed with a 0.4 nozzle

Infill 30% Gyroid

Supports enabled, but only the hexagon connectors need supported.
