this is an adapter for a german water meter from the comapyn kbh. Sorry i dont figrued out what the exact typ it is.
im my case it is use to detect the arrow of the 10l, counter.
a light sensor is detecting the pass through of the 10l arrow.
a esp32 is counting it and send it to my fhem. other smarthome system should also work.
Also a use of tasmota with the sml function activated should work.
Be aware: the sensor is not directly compatible with the esp or arduino inputs. you need to use a logic level converter!
Otherwise you will distroy the counter hardware!
i use a panasonic ex26a (also found as sunx sensor) and for this special typ the holder is design.
First i want to use the 1l arrow but after a test i figured out the arrow is also runing counter clock wise.
this cause a big problem, two get multi pulse of detecting the count clockwise moving.
So i decided to count the 10l
The 10l counter is mouch more precise then the 100l or only the number of the m3 counter.
For attachement of the sensor there are 2x m3 screws 15mm and 2x m3 nuts neccesary.
Hope this will help some smarthome freeks like me.
Cheers Robert
