I tried multiple silica holders. This was one of my favorites. However, some issues prevented me from opting for it large-scale. First: The two ends of the holder have no grip to them. Being circles, it's hard to grab/twist them, especially during those final turns. Second: It can't be removed from a spool without opening the chamber and risking spillage. Otherwise, it's well designed, holds many beads, prints easy, is durable, and even allows a rod thru it. Clear PETG a plus for visibility! Thx
Good design that met my goals of desiccant and some added weight. Printed up nicely in ASA. For the weight obsessed it is possible to slip in a steel weight in the center.
I did run into one issue.
On a spool that matched the length of this it was hard to get my fat fingers to get a grip for removal. There was only one thing to do. To the Bambu and make some tools.
