Description

Boost Me (for free)

All my files are free and self-funded - boosts help cover filament costs and let me keep giving back to the MakerWorld community.
Thank you for the support! ❤️

My toddler is deep into rockets right now, specifically the SpaceX Falcon Heavy. So naturally I had to make one.

Features:

  • Detachable boosters and core - Each side booster attaches to the core with magnets for realistic staging play.
  • Magnets in the bottom of the core and each booster allow them to securely land on a (coming soon) magnetic droneship.
  • Looks great on a desk, shelf, or toddler command center.
  • Modular + satisfying - The magnetic snap when attaching boosters is addictive!

The idea was to make something that is durable enough for toddler launches and modular enough for realistic separation + landing scenarios.

Magnets are embedded mid-print into the bottom of the boosters and core.

If your kid (or you… no judgment) is obsessed with rockets, this is a super fun print.

All stages are superglued together. The boosters use one 1/4"x1/8" magnet each, and the intermediate attachments are 6mmx2mm magnets.

Droneship model coming soon.

Assembly:
Printing from Bambu Studio is highly recommended. The print will pause for embedding magnets at the bottom of the boosters.
