Description

Edit: This has also been confirmed to fit the Model 3 Highland as well.  Thank you to @ionhoo for printing the file and testing it!

Based on requests, I've uploaded a print profile that removes the sunglasses tray.

Tesla Model Y Juniper / Model 3 Highland - Center Console Tray (including sunglasses holder)

After receiving my new Model Y Juniper, I wasn't thrilled with the available options for center console trays…..so I decided to make my own.

Tesla didn't make it easy, since the console tapers both vertically and front to back.  This tray fits perfect at the rear of the center console (closest to the driver) and will be looser if pushed towards the front of the vehicle….being loose when pushed to the front will be universal to all available trays due to the shape of the console.

The depth and shape of the console also lends itself to adding a sunglasses holder to the tray, fixing a problem I've had in both of my Tesla's.  The notch at the front of the sunglasses holder allows the interior light to still illuminate the rest of the tray.

V1 was obviously designed to fit my needs with the dividers.

V2 & V3 are in the cad file download

V2 has a more simplified divider design

V3 is a single divider down the middle

I printed out ABS-GF, since it can deal with the heat in the vehicle and I love how clean it prints….most people won't know it was 3D printed.  Any filament capable of handling the temps in a hot car should be fine though.

I've also attached the files for TPU Air inserts for the bottom of the trays.  I'm sure regular TPU will be fine as well but I didn't have any in black.

There was some interest shown in a model with only the sunglasses holder portion.  That model is now available. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2449016-tesla-model-y-juniper-sunglasses-tray#profileId-2688369
