Description

Update 21 June 2024: Added a MicroLock S-Biner specific version derived from my string carrier. I had an issue where I'd break the hoop every 3-4 months or so because I would use my carabiner for leverage which would result in me overtightening it and then breaking the hoop off. This should be more sturdy.

If anyone has a detailed 3D scan of the Loop Switch, please contact me if you would like this supported.

A replacement for Loop's flimsy plastic case with a key ring, string, or S-Biner MicroLock attachment.

Printed great using PLA! Would also like to see a version with separate slots for the different noise blocking inserts (pro models I think?) so that they have a dedicated holder when you don’t want to use them, and also one for the loop cord that allows you to wear them around your neck. Would be great to be able to carry that without a separate holder. Otherwise, excellent, speedy print and so helpful.

The rubber mutes, yeah. I have had a couple requests for somewhere to store them and just haven't had time. As far as the cord goes, I'm not really sure how I'd accomplish something like that, but perhaps you could it as the lanyard to hold the case?

fits like a glove. use final ear E type for the ear tip. construction site use case. no more foam ear tip with dirty hand trying to squeeze fit it while you all sweaty. no more disposable earplugs, just need to clean this one from time to time. it is better for everyone. print was easy , done on cooltak plate, petg orange, standard profile nothing special, auto tree support removes easily, works and prints super well, job freaking well done very happy with it. the only con I can think of is the half ring on top for lanyard, I would model that more robust, the cap works great, a little mark tells you which way is facing up before opening it , very thoughtful.

Hey, try the other carrier, it should fit that carabiner you’re using. I don’t recommend using one with the hoop carrier because of the tendency to use the carabiner as a handle to open the case. It’s easy to overstress it by doing that.

Print was excellent, I just wish they clasped the buds enough to clip them in. Currently they just fall out if your not careful. And the width is a tiny bit too tight.

Hey, you do not have mutes installed on your loops, so yes they fit loosely. The intention of the nub on the top is to show you orientation even in the dark so you don’t dump them on the floor. I agree with the width on the cylinder versus the carrier and was already looking to correct that but haven’t had time with my job change. Thanks for the input!
