I built this extraction system because I was tired of constantly inhaling the smoke while soldering. Thanks to the large fan, the device is not the quietest, but it is the most powerful.
In addition to the 3D printed parts, you also need an approx. 150mm long M8 screw or threaded rod and two M8 nuts to build. To improve the grip, I glued 4 rubber feet to the suction so that it doesn't slip back and forth.
There is some space in the electronics housing to accommodate the required cables or switches.
I used a 120mm fan as a fan, with the holes about 100mm apart. Three layers of activated carbon filters can be inserted in the middle, which hold tightly without screws
