Description

Soldering produces toxic fumes that can be dangerous. For this reason the use of a fume extractor is recommended. This one has also handy lighting, so you can see the soldering process perfectly.

You need a bit of DIY to assemble it, but we're in the soldering section so it will be a piece of cake for you.

I printed the model out of three parts with almost no supports. Then I glued them together. If you don't mind using more supports, you can print them in one piece.

Parts needed:

  • radial cooling fan - 12V, 50 mm
  • two bolts 20 mm and nuts
  • LED strip lights - 12V
  • 12V power suply or 5-12V voltage stepup

I used a 5-12V voltage stepup because I wanted to use a 5V power bank as a power supply. If you use a 12V power supply, you don't need the stepup.

The LED strips are wired in parallel with the fan.
