This little Hatchbox adapter has a notch where you can glue in the RFID tag from an empty Bambu filament refill instead of throwing it away. Make sure to bend the tags inwards towards the inside of the adapter to keep them from sticking out directly. Once you have selected the roll of Hatchbox filament you plan to use it in- load that roll into the ams and look at it in the AMS filament settings- Mine showed as black PLA Basic when I loaded it- however- I changed it over to Generic Silk PLA and selected a different color and the ams remembered that this roll of filament is silk PLA. One thing you will need to know is each side of the spool must be programmed. Slot 1 and 3 read the RFID on one side and slot 2 and 4 read it on the opposite side. So if you use lots of white its well worth it to print one in white and program it to be white on both sides and when a roll runs out, simply drop your programmed white insert into the new white roll. Also designed to be snug to work with the AMS lite.
