Description

Upgraded fan duct attachment for https://makerworld.com/en/models/23658

The X1 and P1 Version are different! This is to account for the Lidar clearance.

I use the dual Aux fan with my Bambu X1C and have a litle problem with it. Is it possible to create a version that has the same height as the original Aux fan duct? There is the following problem when printing PLA. The original fan starts to cools from layer 4 upwards, but the second fan duct located lower down and cools the buildplate and the first 3 layers and this creates warping on the right side from the prints. You can see the different heights of the fan ducts on the printbed in the picture...

How did you wire it? The best way is to tap into the original aux fan, then they turn on the exact same time. Also something is wrong with this, they SHOULD be the same height but I'm not sure why yours is sitting so much lower. What are the exact files you downloaded?

The cabling is on the Bambu aux fan of the X1C. That is why there is the problem. If the original fan cools in the 4th layer, the second fan also goes on as planned, only it cools the lower layers because the fan duct is lower. I used your "Bambu Lab P1 / X1 Series Modular Bentobox Aux Fan" with the new duct "Bambu Lab Aux Fan Full Plate Cooling" and installed everything and screwed it to the metal rail as described in the instructions... I compared the new duct with the two from your other models, the height is the same for all of them. I don't know if Bambu Lab have made the Aux Fans a bit higher since they are no longer glued but screwed to the case?

Can you take a height measurement of the whole assembly? But it wouldnt matter how the original fan is mounted because either way it only goes as high as the frame railing above it.

Is there a way to improve the fan on the left side of the x1c as well?

This worked out perfect! I used the x1 version for both p1p and x1c and both turned out great. I wired it where it runs with the other fan in sync. Bravo on this!
