This is a custom-designed ramp tailored for my Roborock S7 vacuum cleaner. It's designed to help navigate high doorways between rooms effortlessly.
After testing various infill options, I found that a 30% infill provided the ideal balance of strength and weight. The ramp features a smooth design, optimized for seamless traversal by the robot.
Through experimentation, I discovered that a 30-degree incline worked well for my Roborock S7 after some initial training. However, other robotic models struggled with angles exceeding 20 degrees, so I settled on a 15-degree incline for optimal reliability.
Each ramp measures 200mm in width and 30mm in height, making it suitable for covering standard doorways. It's a simple yet effective solution that has proven successful in my home, and colleagues have expressed interest in replicating it for their own use.
Won't recommend painting in white because it is quite marky. The last picture shows the results after a year. Maybe if painted with car paint it will be better, but I prefer just printing black.
