Description

The smart wallet is now updated with a thicker stronger lid without any logo's on it and with better closing grip!

This is the last wallet you will ever need to print :)

Features:

Easy to print without any supports

How to make

Print everything flat on the bed :)
Insert the lever into the base
Put filament in the holes of the change compartment to align with base (check the video!)
Put glue on change compartment
Set it on the base and let it dry
Put in the lid (I didn't even need to glue anything, it just stays put!)

If you really want smooth filament "nails"...cut off 2cm of filament, heat a piece of metal and press against the filament end and make it curl back to form a nail "head". Cut the piece to length and insert (check my video for the result)

Cool concept. Sadly, the locking mechanism is't working properly for me. It does not have a positive 'click' and falls open all the time. The top sliding part also feels flimsy. I must say I printed this in eSUN petg. Maybe i'll try again in pla+.

Hmm, flimsy? It's a pretty solid part on my side of things...it was flimsy before (with the logo) but 2mm is pretty thick for such a small lid. Did you glue the wallet together? Maybe it's a bit over extruded and that's why it doesn't click together? For me it literally says 'click' and it's stuck... sorry it doesn't work for you! Maybe I need to release a version with more clearance on the top closing part?

I printed this, or very similar to this his several years ago when I first got my Ender 3! and it’s only just broke! it’s lasted well and works great! 👍🏻

The designer comment says that it was redesigned without logo and with a thicker lid. The model I loaded directly from Makerworld into studio still has the logo and the lid is still very thin.

You are completely right, thanks for letting me know! I have fixed the print profile, apparently you have to update both the model and the profile. Still trying to get the hang of this website. Thanks again, you can import it correctly now! Sorry for the inconvenience.

my old version was just now getting too loose to hold itself closed. was logging in to find the model and ask if you could rework the locking mechanism! thanks man! will be printing tonight!
